The French military M47 pants are famous for being used by Margiela in his collection.
In recent years, the prices of French military items, including the M47, have risen sharply, making it difficult to obtain originals, so Arzak Kamakura has been searching for a highly finished M47 with sizes to choose from. That's when we came across the OUTIL M47 pants. At first glance, they were so well-made that we wondered if they were vintage dead stock.
OUTIL's M47 pants are a highly-finished item that has been reconstructed using the manufacturing methods and materials of the time.

OUTIL/Uti's late model M47, PANTALON BLESLE.
The later model has a slightly cleaner silhouette than the earlier model and is characterized by the use of herringbone fabric. PANTALON BLESLE is based on a rare canvas model seen in the transitional period of the M47.
The fabric is a cotton hemp blend, an original fabric with a crisp feel.
The dyeing process is done using a special botanical dye made from willow trees and mulberry leaves. The natural and tasteful colors that can only be achieved through plant dyeing create a fabric that changes over time.

The button fly is the same as the vintage version. The buttons are OUTIL original metal buttons. A proverb is engraved in French on the edge.
The problem with M47 is that it's hard to find your size in the original length. Even if you want to hem it, there is an adjuster at the hem, so you have to transplant it. At Alzac Kamakura, we carry sizes 12, 13, and 25, so that should solve your length problems.
